(More customer reviews)This halter is GREAT as a training aid. It keeps the dog from pulling. This helps you get its attention so you can teach it to walk properly (walk or heel) with you. I also like to use it when I am walking my dogs using a retractable leash because the ring extends over the back and lessens the occurence of "leash between legs".
I have used these halters for nine years on both my dogs (a long haired Belgian shepherd and short-haired pit bull) and have never once had a problem with them. My pit bull needed a bit more control, so I switched to a head-halter. After training her with the head-halter I return to the Sporn for pleasure walks.
