(More customer reviews)This harness was recommended to me by the trainer who handled the adoption of my rescue Pit Bull puppy. I was looking for something more than a typical harness to help control her and teach her leash manners. So far I have been more than happy with it. I love the car control strap, and she rides in the car like an angel! I also hook my leash to the ring of the harness that sits on the chest (not the lowest one where the car strap hooks too) and it works like a no-pull harness. I can definitely tell a difference in how much my girls pulls depending on if the leash is hooked to the D ring on the back or the O ring on her chest. I am training my puppy and attending classes so I must add a disclaimer to my review that this is being used with a puppy who is pretty well trained thus far for her age and I had to work with her (and still am) to get her leash manners as far along as they are now.
I keep the harness on my puppy all day (it comes off for bed time!), along with a regular snap collar and she has no problems with it. They had a harness on her at the shelter so she may just have been used to it. Premier is a great company and if your dog does chew the harness they will replace it if you call them! I recommend this harness to anyone who is looking for one that is a little more versatile. My little one is outgrowing her harness so I'll be purchasing another soon in the next size up!
