In the past I used the popular nylon clip type collar, dogs scratched alot...with this choke collar no problem/scratching from the dogs. The round cord lays on the fur, there are no edges to dig into the skin/hide. Excellent product, nicely designed. The extra ring for ID's and vaccinations tags is a thoughtful extra. THANKS!
