I have a very aggressive lhasa Apso ( whom I was told was the most seen animal for aggressive behavior!). He is being treated currently by a Veterinary Healing Arts Program, with a strict treatment plan and 1/2 of Reconcile in the morning ( dog Prozac).The treatment plan is to help us take the control back and reduce his aggressiveness. We started this February. When he bit me on the foot 2 weeks ago, I called the specialist and he recommeded the DAP collar. This collar added much more calmness to him and it was noticable within a day. His aggressiveness was so bad he actually attacked me on the face, which was horrible and happened to be the day I came home from a surgery I had 6 months ago. The other dogs were afraid to walk by him and everyone was afraid of him. He attacked our other 2 small Shih Tzu's also. There was NO WAY we would EVER put our dog to sleep if there was something we could do for him, so we spent the money on everthing we could to help him. He was crying out for help, because he obviously couldn't be happy, and we wanted a more happy, less controlling, calm dog. Everything is working and he is making a lot of progress. If there is a way to help one of our dogs, money is no object. If you're a dog lover, do it, buy the collar. We plan to buy it every 4 weeks because it is recommended, so we will. We're not millionaires but it's worth every penny! Like I said, if you truly love your dog, you'll do it!! (:
