It is small enough to fit in your hand, the control is unbelievable and the loop that goes around your wrist makes it so easy to walk your dog because you can still use your hand if needed. The other retractable leashes are big and bulky, this one seems like you are not even holding it. I am buying another one for my other dog since this one was a gift. Highly recommended!!!!
