(More customer reviews)I have a 17 lb Westie who loves this product. It can be used for small dogs. You can either remove the springs to lengthen the cord which is quite easy to do or you can purchase the Walky Dog Low Rider attachment to accommodate short dogs. The main issue with small dogs is their reduced capacity for exercise. I find I can ride for about a mile at a moderate pace which gives my dog the ability to run lightly. I purchased this product because I am no longer able to run due to arthritic knees.
