From the moment I opened the packaging, the leash failed to possess the only attribute credited to it in the item description: retractability. I requested a refund from the seller, including shipping costs, because, to me, a product this poorly made is an insult and affront to our free-market model of two parties coming to mutually amicable agreement for the sale of goods; An agreement based on representations of fact. In other words, this may have been just a blatant rip-off. To the sellers credit, they approved my request for a refund. All I needed do was mail the product back. Instead of sending them back, I threw them in the trash. Draw your own conclusions about the parties involved, but I can assure you, this product would fit in right beside the other contents of my dog's poopy-scoopy bag.
