(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these for a miniature doxie I am petsitting to give better control of her on walks as the neck collar she was using for walks was chafing. I'm quite pleased with the quality and fit although I would mention that these run small. This is a small dog but a "medium" size barely fits her around the chest (she does have a long neck and barrel chest of course as her breed does) and the fit is not very adjustable. It adjusts only with a velcro patch on the back under the round Puppia logo so with a dog at the higher end of the size range there is very little velcro to use, meaning that part of the rough side of the Velcro rests on the dog's back, which could cause irritation. I have been observing this area and so far it has not irritated her but would suggest that the velcro be replaced with wide soft adjustable mesh straps and a clip fastening like the neck fastening.
Other than this the product is very sturdy and looks quite fashionable on. You get good control on a walk with a pulling dog and there is absolutely no fear of the dog slipping out of her harness.
