(More customer reviews)I just took Molly (my dog) for her first walk with her new harness. What a difference this thing makes! We adopted Molly from our county humane society a little over a week ago. From the day we brought her home until just now, she would pull really hard on her collar when we would take her for a walk. She would pull so hard that she would wheeze and choke. I knew that I needed to get a harness for her to take the pressure off her neck. The chest can take the pressure, so this harness made more sense. I measured Molly around her body, just behind her front legs. She is 22 inches around, so I ordered the 20-30 inch harness. Once it was on Molly, I adjusted the straps, and the harness fits her beautifully. Now that I've adjusted the straps, I won't have to do that again.
Our lives are going to be much better from now on. Molly won't be choking anymore when she goes for a walk, and I'll have peace of mind, knowing that there's no way she can wriggle out of this harness. It's far safer than using just her collar. And it's extremely sturdy. All that and the fact that this harness is made in the U.S.A. makes this harness a must-have item for any dog owner, in my opinion. Whenever I can help to save an American job, I'll do it. I give this harness five stars. Molly gives this harness two paws up (her highest rating)!
Update: We've had the harness for more than a week now, and Molly is no longer pulling when we go for walks, like she used to with the leash and collar. Well, if she sees a squirrel or if the neighbor's chickens wander into our yard, she will pull then. But for normal walks, Molly is quite the little lady now. What a difference in her behavior! Walks with Molly are a pleasure for both of us now.
