(More customer reviews)As mentioned in another review, you have to buy a "belt-style" collar in order to be able to use this light. (It can't fit over the traditional "clip" collars.)
My dog's collar came off him one night when he was swimming in a creek after a river otter. The next morning, I went down with a rake to try to retrieve the collar and light from the bottom of the shallow creek. When I retrieved the collar, the light was still on!
This truly is waterproof and shatterproof, and it could withstand 12 hours underwater and remain ON!
I am very impressed with this light. Visibility from afar is great as well. The light is very bright. I would recommend it.
