(More customer reviews)After reading many reviews online, I went ahead and purchased this one. At first, my husband tried it on himself before putting it on our german shepard and it didn't work, no matter how loud he barked or growled. We were going to send it back, but we decided to try it on the dog afterall. It worked great, but after like a couple of days we noticed that the dog was itching the side of her neck, we found that it somehow burned her. We took her to the vet and the vet conquered that it was caused by the collar. We kept it of until it heeled and tried it again. The trick is to chang the collar that it came with. Because the original one slides to the side and doesn't stay in the middle. But now, we love it, and she KNOWS not to bark for no reason. Good Luck
