(More customer reviews)Okay, for starters, let's remember this is $23. The remote is capable of syncing with two collars, and you can switch between which collar you want. It has shock, vibrate, beep, and light. The Light, I think is more if you were trying to find the dog in the dark. This product, is obviously not made in the US. It is very lightweight, and feels very cheap. I have a sportdog 105S, so I'm familiar with brandname quality products. That being said, I have ranged this out to 150 meters so far, and it still works. I use vibrate and tone. Vibration and shock have a scale of 1-100. Vibration is correctly configured, and I use it at 100. The shock, however, is apparently where the corner was cut. I haven't tried 100, and I'll update this once I test with a multimeter. For the time being, I tried 4 (out of 100), on my hand, as with anything you should know what it feels like before you submit another animal to it. It hurt. 04/100 felt like 6/8 for my sportdog. I tried 01/100 and it felt like 03/08 comparatively. That is acceptable, if my dog is really in a trance, but I haven't needed it yet. It's just to keep them from wandering off, or going off of trails, and pre-emptively from getting excited about wild animals. Vibrate works perfect. I have no dared try 100/100 on myself yet.
In summary though, it works for exactly what I need it to, it's range has not yet been discovered, so I'm very impressed with that. It comes with batteries, that I haven't replaced yet. The only thing that I had trouble on was the remote goes to standby, and then auto-off. if it's on standby, any button brings it back. if it's off, you hold "1/2"+"mode" buttons, for about 3 seconds, and it turns on. While walking, I will hit mode every few minutes, to keep the remote on, as I don't want a 3 second delay when I need to use it. Still well worth the money to me.
