(More customer reviews)I purchased this system and extra collar to keep my dogs from bolting out of the patio doors into my unfenced back yard every time I open the door. Unfortunately, my little 5 lb doggy has learned that no collar means he can run out the door w/o getting zapped. My older larger 40 lb dog however, learned her lesson 1x and that was all she needed. I haven't had to put the collar on her but 1x. I wish I could leave the collar on all day and night for the little dog, but I'm afraid of chafing his skin. It did work on the small 5lb dog, but he's smarter and knows that if the collar is off, he can run. But when he's wearing it, he doesn't go anywhere near the door.
