(More customer reviews)This product worked well for my 1 yr old dachshund. Dachshunds are well known for their bark and for the most part, I can deal with it. When I am around my dog, she listens when I say the "quiet" command. However, I was having problems getting her to listen when she roamed the fenced-in back yard, especially when my neighbor let their dogs out at the same time mine was. The first time I tried this product when my dog was barking, I opened the back door and yelled the "quiet" command, but shortly after, the barking ensued. So I yelled "quiet" while pressing the spray button and she was very surprised and walked to the door to come in. After a few times of this routine, she understood and now listens to the "quiet" command better than before. I rarely put the collar on her anymore, but it is there in case of a relapse, lol.
