(More customer reviews)I use both the small & x-small for my average sized cat. They both fit but it just depends on how much you need to cover up. At first my cat was a little apprehensive but he easily got used to it and it doesn't interfere with his daily life. They don't last forever but it beats putting him in a cone which he hates.
