(More customer reviews)I have a 5 month old lab mix and it worked perfectly on her. She would bark for hours on end when I was gone, and I put this on her one day and she's not barked since. Will not work on small dogs (she's over 30 lbs.) and sometimes when she shakes, it will move so that it won't work anymore.
Overall, it's been wonderful. I only had to use it a couple times and she learned very quickly not to bark. I highly recommend this.

Dogs bark. There's no getting around that. But when the barking gets out of control, that's when Petsafe's bark-control training system saves the day. The system distinguishes between barking for self-defense and unnecessary barking, so Fido can protect himself without being a nuisance. Equipped with a vibration sensor, the collar analyzes tremors from the dog's vocal chords, making sure they are caused by barks from the dog wearing the collar and not the neighbor's noisy pooch. The collar shuts down for 3 minutes so your canine buddy has time to recoup.
