(More customer reviews)I ordered these leashes for use in exercising the dogs who are awaiting adoption at our non-profit animal shelter. The leather has softened and is lovely in your hand - even with a large breed dog who has limited leash manners. The braiding is beautiful and extends for a good 3"-4" on either end of the leash. My only concern is the rivets that hold the handle and clip end of the leash. There is only a single rivet and no back-up stitching (although I hope the braiding will help lend strength and stability to the leash). I'll try to remember to update this listing a few months out re: how the rivets hold up.
