(More customer reviews)I feel much safer now walking after dark because the collar is easily illuminated by any light - flashlight, streetlights, headlights, etc. Also, when our dog is off leash running around the backyard at night and when we take her camping she's much easier to spot with this collar on. It's easy to adjust and doesn't seem to bother her at all. Not sure about the strength - it hasn't been an issue for me but the collar is thinner material than the last regular collar I purchased. After a month it still looks brand new and no fraying or thread wear.
