(More customer reviews)I've had this collar for a couple months now, and it works fine. I had the same issue reported in another review, in that initially it didn't seem to do anything. The first thing I did was change out the prongs to the longer ones (it comes with both a long and short set to work with your dog's hair length). Then I played around with the collar fit, tightening and loosening it until I found the loosest setting that still works. Now that that's dialed in, it works almost every time. My dog is running around like a little nut at the dog park, so it does shift sometimes, I just call him over and adjust.
All in all this collar will do what you expect from a training collar, and it's one of the most reasonably priced ones out there. Note that the button must be pushed to initiate a correction, it will not do it automatically every time the dog barks. I was a little disappointed when I found that out, but that's on me for not reading carefully enough about the features. And it's ok anyway, some barking is ok. Now I push the button and say the word "quiet" at the same time, in the hopes of associating the word with the correction, and eventually getting results w/o the collar.
