(More customer reviews)The harness works great. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I did not find it difficult to put on the first time. I had my son pet our dog and give him "belly rubs" while I worked with the harness. The biggest problem I've had with the harness is that our dog is like Houdini. He can escape from everything (which is why we bought the harness in the first place.) He worries at it and pulls at it until somehow he manages to get his back legs out. Then he jumps over the fence again. My advice if you are using this harness would be twofold: 1st, don't throw away the instructions. If your dog manages to escape, you will need the instructions to get the harness back on properly. (I learned this the hard way.) 2nd: Buy a 2nd harness as a back up. That way if a piece gets worn through or lost, you have it. (This hasn't happened to me yet, but I wish I had bought 2 of them. They are inexpensive and it would be nice to have a 2nd one. The one I have is starting to look pretty worn because my dog chews on it. Eventually, I think he'll chew through one of the straps.
