The flames light up both sides which is a great snazzy way to present ourselves on walks. It isn't the strongest lead in the world, but it's fairly sturdy. I'll have to get it re-sewn and re-inforced down the way but I do that with all my leads eventually. The clasp is a bit stiff now, but I hope it will loosen up after a while.
All in all, a very creative, eye catching gadget for any journey.
