(More customer reviews)This collar has saved a lot of anger in the middle of the night with our constantly barking Pyrenees. It does not hurt her, but it gives just enough of a buzz to remind her to shush until it comes off of her neck.
We have had to buy multiple collars because of our own forgetfulness, leaving it on her when we let the house dog out who proceeds to pull it off of her and use it as a chew toy.
Just make sure that it is tight enough to touch the skin through the fur and do not leave it on the dog for more than is absolutely necessary. I believe the instructions say no more than 12 or 14 hours at a time.
Our dog is now allowed to stay in the city limits without noise citations and we are able to get a good night of sleep without having to yell at her every 15 minutes. :-)
