(More customer reviews)real good for the price in comparison to other e collars. The battery in our collar dies usually in a week or less even if it's not being used. There is no way to switch it off, so the collar is on all the time unless you take the battery out. I wish there was a way to charge it at night. Thankfully there is a red light and when you can no longer see it then you know the battery is dead. We use to whistle to get both of our dogs attention, the vibrate as a warning, and the shock when the one dog is getting overly aggressive after the warning. My husband and I tried it on ourselves first to be sure what we were putting our dogs through. The initial shock hurt and had a lingering effect but after that it was no big deal and when the one dog that wears it is in high prey mode she will ignore it at first. We thinking about getting another one for our year old oh so excited galumpasaurus lab.
