(More customer reviews)For a long while I did NOT like my dog, a one year old black lab. I put up with his crap because my wife and daughter are crazy about about the dog. I bought this as a compromise with my wife. To my knowledge it hasn't shocked him at all. The audible warning was enough and it only took a few days for him to figure out. The dog has had it on for a few weeks and he hasn't barked for at least 2 of them. I think I'm going to order a few more and have them delivered to my neighbors.
