(More customer reviews)I love this collar. We have had the police come to our house due to the barking from our hound-mutt, while we are away. We had to do something. We tried the citronella spray collar, the ultrasonic noise box, the invisible electric fence, and other bark collars with limited success, everything. Once we found this collar we were very apprehensive about using a shock collar on our dog, so we tried it out on ourselves first. It's very unpleasant but not injurious. It took two days to condition the dog to not to incessantly bark whiel we are away. The dog has learned that he can bark, but only very quietly and not for more than a few barks. I've only given this collar three stars because it is made so cheaply. It breaks. The prongs twist off or bend and break off. The housing box is cheap plastic and the battery lid has broken on several collars. The prongs holding in the battery also are an issue and bend so that the contacts are not good enough to produce a current. I found a sale on the collars for $15.00 each. I bought five.
