(More customer reviews)This really does the job. My dog used to chew the plastic ring type silencer, but has not seemed to notice this one. I did not really expect it to last very long on my hyper pup, but he's worn it for months, and it's good as new. Well-made. I would have liked the option of a solid color rather than the manufacturer's name in large print - shows up in photos, etc. The noise of tags doesn't bother me. I just wanted protection for the tags, so they don't get dirty and beat up to the point of being unreadable. This does the best possible job of protecting the tags.
