(More customer reviews)We purchased this collar from a local retailer because we thought the metal clasp and wide adjustable band would make for a durable collar. Boy were we fooled! Two seconds into walking our 42 pound Australian Cattle Dog, after the slightest pull, a collar seam fell apart, and our dog ran free. The metal buckle held great, but that's useless when the rest of the collar was poorly glued together with no stitching to keep it secure. Not recommended for tie outs, walking, or fashion. Only good for throwing at oncoming traffic to keep your dog from being run over.
